In accordance with REF (A) and effective as of the date of enactment of the NDAA for FY21 (January 1, 2021), a member of the uniformed service with dependents who is under orders to remain aboard a ship while at homeport and whose duty onboard the ship is for a continuous period of more than 30 days (including any period in homeport) shall be eligible for FSA. When a member is under orders to remain on board a ship while at homeport, the days on the ship while at homeport will count towards the more than 30 continuous days of duty requirement, except when a member is required to remain on board for disciplinary reasons. 3. ISSUE 211002. EXISTING REQUIREMENTS OF FSA. Except as modified by REF A, all other existing requirements for entitlement to FSA remain in effect. 4.
